Speaking about the album, Chris says "My musical tastes derived from a decade frequenting clubs like the Lacy Lady, Global Village etc and taking in Players Association, Roy Ayers, Mizell Brothers. I've had a lifelong passion for Jazz Funk in all it's many forms and this is my take on the genre but updated with contemporary beats and vibes."

"Vocals came from supreme UK talent Rita Campbell, saxes and flutes from Andy Ross, Keyboards from Janette Mason and guitar/bass by Nigel Price. This album draws on all my Jazz Funk influences."
